Nobody will learn English from Duolingo

I’m a native English speaker from New Jersey. Not Italy. I was born in New Jersey (not Italy). I’m not from Italy; I’m from New Jersey. I could go on. Just for fun I’m doing English on Duolingo, and I’m from New Jersey, not Italy. I keep having to correct them, and I’m not from Italy. Nobody could learn English from Duolingo because there are so many mistakes.
