Lakers are 30-13 against Western Conference teams, only behind OKC (33-11). They have a winning record against current playoff-bound teams. Much of their losses have been against Eastern teams and teams with a bad record

If we're losing to the Western Conference teams then that's obviously worrying but losing to teams you're not gonna face in the playoffs may be frustrating but it's no indication of their playoff strength by any means.

It's just me but it seems JJ and co. are more lenient and experimental when facing these kind of teams.

The true test will be the Western Conference and they have been phenomenal in that end.
