newbie lab tech needs tips!
Hi everyone, it’s my first time posting here. So as the title says, I’m a newbie lab tech por a molecular biology lab, and i’m primarily tasked with maintaining cell lines. However, my background is in microbiology and I only ever needed to culture microorganisms, not cell lines.
I was hoping that maybe some of you could offer me tips on being more agile/efficient during the process, without it taking me so long to do the passages and stuff. Also, if you guys have any tips on adjusting cell culturing based on cell lines, i’d love to read them!
Thank you in advance! It’s only been a month-ish since i started this job but i already feel overwhelmed and quite frankly stupid because it doesn’t look like a hard process.
