what is the best kindle to get?

I have been researching about kindles but things are confusing me.
Some people said its good, some are not and even telling me to get something else.

here are the thing i'm looking for:

- ad free, I want it to be able to highlight things, with colors, battery last longer than my patience. any recommendation as this will be my first time getting one thank you! and maybe please include the prices too
