Seeking Advice on Options Trading
Hi everyone,
I’m 34 and a long-term, risk-averse investor who focuses primarily on stable companies within the S&P 500. Lately, I’ve seen posts from people claiming they’ve turned $11k into $500k, which seems unrealistic to me. However, it got me thinking—are people actually achieving these high returns through options trading?
I’ve studied options and understand that the risk can be significant. I’m curious to hear from the community on the following:
1. Is trading options worth exploring for someone like me?
2. What kind of returns do you typically see from options trading?
3. How do you approach options trading—what’s your strategy?
I’m considering putting a small amount of cash into it to see how it works for me, so any insights would be appreciated!
