Annoying candidate during INICET exam

Met one of my college friends after almost a year and whilst catching up, she narrated a rather concerning ordeal during her November 2024 INICET with centre in Hyd, TL.

Apparently a candidate sitting next to her, started reading questions out loud in a mumbling fashion once the exam started, the way that you usually see people do outside libraries or in hostel whilst walking and studying with the book [picture Chatur from 3 idiots].

The rules state clearly that we are to maintain absolute silence, be it NEET PG, UPSC CMS or INICET.

Whispering is one thing, but apparently that person was mumbling the questions out so loudly that she could make out what they were saying which caused her quite a bit of distraction whilst focusing on solving the paper.

She couldn't turn and give him a look or see if anyone else was being bother by them in the same row. She didn't have the luxury of time to raise her hand and passive aggressively complain about the candidate that too in another city in a different state.

The invigilators didn't do squat during the whole time.

Anyways at the end of the exam, as she was leaving she wrote clearly in the feedback screen and went to complain to the invigilator about that persons behaviour and then it turns out the other people in her row were also disturbed and were also in line complaining against that person who had already left.

The invigilators said "they'll see what's to be done". But we all know what that actually means.

Anyways, Has anyone dealt with similar circumstances whilst answering their PG entrance exams? How do you deal with such BS when it happens?
