(M27 58.5 kg 164 cm) lost discipline/motivation so went for Velliangiri solo trek to get it back
Started my weight loss journey on oct'22 starting at (77kg) lost weight a bit too fast to reach my target of 60 (60.8) in mar'23 and became skinny fat since then I have mostly done body recomp with just calisthenics at home and have been maintaining between 58-60 with a lean athletic physique for the past year. This new year started fine (first 16 days) but slowly started losing discipline and started eating whatever and also barely did my workouts and cardio. The problem is I didn't gain weight infact Iooked a lot leaner and I also didn't lose any strength so constantly felt like I don't have to push myself that much. but I know this is how it starts before everything goes down so wanted to do something challenging for my body especially my legs since I have only had done 2 leg days this year (😭) so I decided to go on veliyangiri trek solo without cane support to fully use my legs. I was thinking it would be humbling but I did fine. Overall felt grateful for my body and realised not taking care of it properly now will be a mistake.
Attached image actual trek time is 5 hrs (20 mins chilling on the top feeling the breeze, 10 mins eating snacks, rest waiting for people before me)
