Why are dual suspension bikes not introduced nowadays? Profiteering by bike makers ?
These days a lot of bikes have mono suspension and it is not very suitable for family travel. The Load factor is also ridiculously low. I've also observed they pass off bikes (even commuter ones) with mono cradle frame which tends to increase service costs. Example : RE Himalayan has a mono frame and there are multiple reports of chassis breaking into 2.
Why do bike manufacturers indulge in such cost cutting and make riding dangerous for citizens ?
I've asked service personnel from hero & Bajaj. They said dual shock absorbers are best suited to handle load and are reliable.
