there is a great animatic of the hate rant from Harlan Ellison's "I have no mouth and I must scream", if you watch it, try to imagine instead of AM, a blood drunk, insane pyotr, mentally high after a victory against the hunter family, with his own new pack. The number of 5 to 1 even fits with the story if you don't count Kevin, who I assume Pyotr would diablerize to become generation 9
