Will an upgrade pay for itself with electric savings ?
I used to come here regularly but have not been here in a long time
I have a 23 year old thermospas Manhattan series tub. My adult children use it weekly but I don’t. I run it all year round at 103 degrees. I have no idea what it costs to run but my guess is a few hundred a month. I don’t think the thermospas is well insulated.
Wondering if it makes sense to upgrade it to save on electricity. Specifically I would want a model that you can set the tub to run and heat during non peak electric hours.
I was thinking if this current tub costs me 200-300 a month to run just upgrading would pay for itself fairy quickly.
