Is anyone else fearful for Halos future in cinema?
I'm worried that producers will look at at the poor performance and reception of the Halo TV series and deem it as not profitable. We all know it's purely a matter of bad storytelling and Halo is a story worth being told properly as a TV series or series of movies but that often times isn't how producers look at it. It isn't a matter of quality to them, it's a matter of profits and I'm afraid that it's fumbled its opportunity so miserably that it might not get another chance for a long time.
I see many people celebrating the end of this awful show but I can't help but be deeply disappointed that what could've been a phenomenal Sci-Fi epic is now dead and buried for the foreseeable future. It's hard not to think about how many doors this show could've opened had it been done well but in the end I'm afraid it had the opposite effect. This is inarguably a sad time to be a Halo fan and I have never been more disappointed in a piece of media.
