Looking to get my 2nd pistol for home defense/competition/range use. Need recommendations. Budget is up to $600-1000 with or without a sale.

I got a Glock 19 gen 5. It is my conceal carry. Love it, but I do want a full size that for home defense and competition range use.

What I like and am looking for:

-full size, longer barrel.

-mildy aggressive grip ergonomics (I fit medium gloves).

• flat trigger. Light trigger pull. I love a good trigger actually.

-good out of the box.

-optics ready.

-reliable (I guess in the sense of brand and pistol has good reputation for QC).

I have mainly been looking at 9mm strikers, but open to suggestions for hammer fired or other calibers. Just don't know much about other pistols. 1911s look nice, I may consider them, but I have not looked into them as much as I should.

What I currently have in mind: Walther PDP pro x. M&p m2.0 competitor full size, and cz sp01.
