I need advice

Im 23 years old and im looking for work in design. I have a total of five years of design education (two degrees). I’ve used LinkedIn, Glassdoor, indeed, Robert Half, you name it. I’ve sent so many applications but hardly any response other than the scam jobs getting my hopes up. I have looked up networking events but there isn’t any or much happening in my area. Anyway… ATP idk how to make any progress to get closer to finding a stable job and a livable income. Where can I start? I don’t think it’s hopeless but I have to have an idea how I’m getting to my goals.

In the future I want to have kids, travel and whatnot. I don’t expect life to be perfect by any means, but I don’t want to waste my life on a job that I may never get. I thought about going into nursing because I love working with people and the physical nature of the job but since I already have an education I am holding back on trying out that option in case I get a design job. I might actually I’m probably just preaching to a choir here since a lot of people I know are in the same boat.

Excuse my rambling, I don’t need any tiny violins I just want to hear what the rest of you are experiencing and I want to hear from those who were in my shoes and finally cracked into the industry and how yall did it!
