Illustration BFA considering Exhibit and Experience grad program

I’ve missed the deadline by this point, but I’m considering FIT for next year.

I got my BFA in illustration from California College of the Arts.

And since then I’ve done a few small commissions and have worked a few festivals that involve immersive art.

All freelance, nothing super large scale. My day job has been in Art Ed via schools, museums, camps, etc.

I’m really interested in developing a career in designing, curating immersive art experiences for festivals, museums, galleries, etc.

What are the experiences of alumni who completed this program? Have you built a lucrative or interesting/fun career? Where are you now?

How hard was it to get into the program. Is the illustration to spacial design pipeline a thing?

I’m also kinda eyeing their Fashion grad program.
