does anyone know what the finish is on the 1951 American vintage ii tele

i’ve heard people say the finish on the American vintage ii tele is fully nitro and i’ve heard people say that it is nitro over poly im just posting wondering if anyone actually knows or can give me any information on this as i’m looking at buying this and it will be the most expensive thing i own so if anyone has any info it would be very much appreciated thanks in advance :)
