They cancelled my freaking TDY

I know this is just a rant, and maybe no one else cares, but I am PISSED. I've been trying to attend this mandatory training for my position for two years. But time and time again, I wasn’t selected (not by my internal leadership, but by higher-ups). Now that I’m in the final year of my program, I finally got approved last month to attend in April. But the moment I walked in today, my supervisor asked if I had seen the email from headquarters—then told me to cancel all reservations and travel plans because they froze our travel cards and paused all civilian travel.

I know that this is all a game for those people to get federal employees be as miserable as possible in an attempt to get us to quit but I WILL NOT QUIT!!

P.S. just in case it wasn’t clear this is a RANT. Yes I know people are losing their jobs I could also lose mine. I am not safe here. The one thing I was looking forward to with work got ripped from me and I’m upset about it😘
