What happens when electricity costs more than gas?

I'm using https://chargevc.org/ev-calculator/ to figure out which I should go with and it seems like I should go with gas.

I entered 20 and 50 at the top.

Under gas, I entered 39 (since I drive a hybrid) and this is based on my last 10 fill ups. Also entered $4.52 since this is California and that's also based on my last 10 fill ups.

For the electric side, I left it at 3.5 miles/kWh and changed the price to $0.51 cents/kWh, since that's how expensive PG&E is.

I'm left with $1,147 yearly gas cost and $1,516 yearly electric cost. Obviously I won't have almost $400 worth of oil changes/maintenance in a year, so I should continue with my hybrid.

Any insight?
