First Negative Electric Vehicle Experience.....Airbnb Host blamed my car for the boiler not working.

Long time lurker of this sub. My wife and I are currently have an Ioniq 5 and love it so far. We arrived to our Airbnb last night, unloaded our bags and turned the heat on to the apartment. Temp was reading 49 degrees inside so I figured this would take a while to heat the whole unit. About 20 mins later, I remembered I saw an outside outlet so I plugged in my level 1 charger provided by Hyundai.

Fast forward about an hour and a half later, the thermostat would go up to 55 and drop back down to 51. My wife reached out to the property manager, and informed us that the oil company forgot to deliver oil for the boiler! No worries, they're on it and within an hour, I figured we should start seeing results.

It's now 1:30am more then 3 hours after our arrival, the heat just isn't kicking on. After some back and forth, the manager says, oh I noticed your car is plugged in. I don't think we're equipped for that so that may be affecting the functionality of the boiler. Are you kidding me?!!

I didn't want to get into the nitty gritty of the charger being plugged in but my response started there's no correlation.

On level 1 I can only pull 1.3kwh but the old space heaters they provided pull 1.5kwh! We ended up leaving and booking a hotel. The manager is waiting for a tech to come assess the boiler.

Am I missing something or is their claim completely assanine?

Update:

Well everyone the boiler has mysteriously been "fixed" and we have heat as of yesterday afternoon. Probably should've asked first about plugging in for sure to avoid any confusion or unnecessary blaming. I'm sure the manager was freaking out Friday night and was just spewing random hypotheses as to why the heat wasn't working before getting all his facts together.
