Slowing down?
I'm the sole office worker for an electrical contractor (7 employees, in Oregon) and I can't help but worry about how slow the schedule has gotten. I do all the scheduling, invoicing, payroll ect. so I know exactly what needs to happen to keep my guys and the bills paid, and this is the first time in my 6 years that I've ever been genuinely concerned about not having the work to keep things rolling. The small town grape vine is saying that we aren't the only local contractors whose work is drying up, but you know how rumors are. I'm salary, so I'll be fine, but I'm worried about my electricians. Is anyone else having similar experiences?
