A huge decision

Guys, I'm a bit lost here. I'm in the process of launching my store with products from AliExpress (it's quite an open niche, so I have several products). The deliveries are good and everything, but I can tell that it's not like before, and it doesn't inspire enough trust. I don’t have any images (I take everything from the internet, and it's not often of great quality), and the products are seen everywhere online. So, I came up with an idea. Why not go to China myself to see the products I want to sell and brand them with my own name, etc. (long term, I want to build a brand, not just a store that will last three months and then stop). I’m not sure if it's a good idea or not. If anyone has experienced something similar, I would really appreciate some help. Thanks!
