Does anyone else get this weird symptom?

Every time I lie down, I feel and hear a crackling sensation from the base of my skull to my neck. It happens almost every night, and once it happens, it lasts a few minutes and crackles every few seconds. This is probably my weirdest symptom and I have no clue what causes it.
