Pete’s Word
I just love the equal parts recipe of the Last Word and all the riffs that go with it. This is one is Pete’s Word and it subs out gin for peaty Islay Scotch - from the folks at Death and Co..
Ingredients I like to do 0.75oz of each of the ingredients - Peated Islay Scotch, Fresh Lime Juice, Green Chartreuse and Maraschino Liqueur. Ice for shaking and an Amarena cherry for garnish.
Method Pour all the liquor and lime juice into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake for 10 to 15 seconds. Double strain into a coupe and garnish with a cocktail cherry.
Sit back and enjoy.. This is one wonderfully balanced between sweet, tart, herbal and smoky.
