Conservatives and liberals should be working together right now now to limit the powers of the executive branch.

It seems to me that this is a no brainer. The President was never meant to have as much power as he has today. People accused Thomas Jefferson of wanting to be a king when he hired a stable boy without the authorization of the legislature.

Trump is going to drag the Republicans down in the midterms. With all his dumb bullshit about impeaching judges, taking over Canada, and sending Americans to El Salvador for prison sentences, it’s a good time to claw back some of that power.
