NOC Help

Hello,

I’m about to start my PR journey and I’ve been researching what NOC would match me best. I have a Computer Programming college diploma and I do Data Analysis (I use mostly SQL to create reports and clean data) and I’ve narrowed it to three options but still unsure about all of them so any help would be appreciated.

• 21223 - Database analysts and data administrators: seemed the most obvios but responsibilities don’t really match as it focuses too much on security and documentation of the database. I deal more with data itself.

• 21211 - Data scientists: seems to align more with my job description though I don’t really do any machine learning related stuff. I’m leaning more towards this one based on responsibilities but I don’t have all the requirements like a masters or experience in statistics/ML. Would it still be okay for me to apply with this NOC just with my college diploma?

• 21221 - Business systems specialists: I’ve seen some threads recommending this one for DAs but it seems more focused on systems than data so not really sure how to fit on it.

Please let me know if you have a similar experience and what worked out for you. I would really appreciate it.
