When did your boobs adjust to milk supply

Hello! I am 5 days PP with my second baby. My milk has come in and I am soooo full and heavy. How long does it take for everything to adjust? I don’t remember from three years ago! I felt very full Thursday morning at a feed, then my breasts felt warm and sore. Now today (Friday) they feel extremely full and heavy, no longer sore constantly.

Do I just wait for things to shake out? Is there anything I can do in the meantime? Baby is nursing well and has a good latch (I think). I have a lactation appointment scheduled for Monday to double check.
