Hot Take: Living failures are harder than Lady Maria

Ik this sounds crazy but i'm not trolling. Living failures gave me SO much more trouble than Lady Maria. I haven't played in a while, but i remember the boss genuinely making me rage so hard. NG+0 was fine, but after that the fight transforms to an abomination. The tiny arm swings and projectiles be dealing like half my health. Lady Maria is obviously a million times better than Living Failures in terms of quality but she's never taken me more than 2 tries with all sorts of weapons. Am I alone in this?
