New Zealand method for BATTLE NET

Hey guys. I’ve seen posts about the New Zealand Method for consol as well as pc game pass

BUT, if I bought the game solely on battle net can I do this method ?

Can I change my battle net account and pc locations to New Zealand ?

Can I simply join a buddy who has done the New Zealand method on game pass ? Will that work ? Can I even get into the game early to join someone’s game?

If someone can shed light on how this all relates to battle net purchases let me know
