Bicycles as a means of transport for teens

Already posted this in r/AdviceForTeens, but I thought I could post this here too, since I'm not getting answers.

So I've been wanting to go around as a teen without my parents having to do taxi work for a while now, so I've made a list of possible options:

• Horses. We're not in the 1800s anymore;

• Cars. I'm not yet old enough to drive;

• Public transport (buses, trams and the likes). They're very unreliable where I live, they may be full and in general they just don't give the same feeling of independence as the other vehicles;

• Motorcycles. They're expensive and dangerous asf, and I'm not yet old enough to ride them;

• Mopeds (slow and small motorcycles). While they're smaller and slower, they can still be pretty dangerous and they're still expensive (a moped itself costs an average of at least 2000 euros, while the license and the insurance cost 300 euros each);

• E-scooter. I could use them but not only are they also expensive, but they're even more dangerous than the mopeds or the motorcycles;

• Bicycles. This is the one I think is the best for me. It's cheap, you can buy a bike for like even 100 to 200 euros, it's cheap to repair if any parts even break, doesn't require licenses, gas or insurance, it's safer than the other options and it also keeps you healthy.

What do you think?
