What kind of nails should I get

Hi folks! I want to get my nails done but I’ve only had regular polish and want something else. I also have no clue what I’m talking about. I want something that’ll prevent me from picking my nails (I have a bad habit), as well as picking the nail polish. I want something thin so it looks at least somewhat natural. And I literally just want the color black. What kind of nails should I get?
