Nitecore UMS2 question.

Hi folks. I just bought a Nitecore ums2 charger and the energy saving mode doesn't work. The screen stays on even 12 hours after Ive taken the batteries out of the charger. Am I doing something wrong here? Am I in a wrong mode? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
