Just finished binging AOT over the past month - Completely blown away, but currently dead inside

I'm not a big anime fan, but I had heard a lot of great things about AOT so I decided to give it a watch. I had no idea I was about to watch what would become my top show of all time. From beginning to end this was peak television, and every episode got me hooked on the next.

I finished the show last night, and it was the first time in my life (40/m) that I ever cried at a shows end, simply because I was devastated I will no longer get to experience those characters and that world any longer. I've been on this sub after finishing last night, and most of the day today, just reading other people's reactions, and getting a better understanding on the ending.

I was happy to see I was not alone in feeling depressed/empty after finishing this show, it honestly just validated my emotions. I'm just hoping it passes soon, as it's very deflating. My two kids (boys) are 6 & 8, and I cannot wait for when I can watch this with them in a few years, getting to see them experience for the first time will almost be will be awesome (hopefully they don't hate it lol).

Anyways, I just wanted to share my experience, and say how appreciative I am that this sub exists, so that I can still experience the show with other awesome individuals.
