Transphobia’s getting more common where I live.

I live in a liberal city and I keep having experiences here and there.

Today I walked into the bus and heard “transgender alert” the second I sat down and I looked the guy dead in the eyes saying “what about it?” They were still not misgendering me tho so I guess that’s that.

Later he passed and apologized to me. But kept whispering to each other. I chucked it off as kids being kids. But the past year I’ve had more transphobic incidents than the five years before that combined.

Are you guys noticing the same thing?
