My AR15 belt fed upper, the Lima Six
Since a few members here mentioned this project in another thread (thank you, by the way!) I figured I would start a new thread here in case anyone has questions. This is the Lima Six, my affordable belt fed upper project. My goal is to sell complete uppers for 3K and build kits for 2K (you supply the standard AR15 parts).
One big difference that makes my design stand out is that the receiver is stretched giving 23% more BGC travel. This means it will be more reliable for stripping rounds from links, and also more controllable for full auto fire.
As of now, I have a live firing prototype but I'm not finished working out all the kinks with the feed mechanism. I will post videos as soon as everything is working reliably.
There is a wait list sign up on my website at www.limasix.com
