Nexus Arcade: Built First, Asking Later
Hi guys 🙂 thanks in advance for reading my post...
Too many posts in startup spaces sound like: "I have an idea, give me money." This space isn't any different. I'm hoping investors fund progress, not promises. So, here’s where we’re at with Nexus Arcade:
Problem & Solution: Mixed reality is taking off, but there’s no real arcade-worthy experience tying home gaming and LBE together especially in mixed reality. We’re fixing that.
MVP: This isn’t just an idea. We’ve got a working build, early release on Meta, and four mixed-reality games in alpha. Co-location, occlusion, depth API—it’s all in there.
Market Fit: MR gaming is growing fast, and with Quest 3 pushing it mainstream, we’re in the right space at the right time.
Traction: 10k+ views on our co-location gaming post, social media presence, early testers engaged, and a roadmap that keeps things moving.
The Team: We’ve been grinding for a year, working from XR version 60 to 71, constantly refining.
Business Model: Free-to-play with in-app purchases. Players get the core experience for free, with optional upgrades for karts, bowling balls, and more.
Financials: Pre-release price is set, with structured monetization in place.
Validation: People are interested, feedback is coming in, and we’re tweaking based on real playtesting.
This isn’t a “please fund us” post. It’s a we built something real, and now we’re looking at what’s next post. If you’re into mixed reality, gaming, or the future of location-based entertainment, let’s talk.
