“My wife”

Correcting people especially men at my job about my love life gives me such joy especially in times like these. I was helping someone earlier with an issue and he was talking about his wife and said “you know, something your husband one day would be upset about” and without a beat I said “my wife actually” and the shocked pikachu face. I wish I could have taken a pic of it. Ah. Small wins my fellow lesbians. Small wins.

Edit: I don’t have a wife or a girlfriend. I should have clarified the first time. BUT I love putting a man in his place when it comes to gender norms.
