200h YTT: one month overseas intensive or 3 month weekend local course?
I’m looking to do a YTT training next year and deciding between these two options. I would like the experience of learning somewhere like Bali/Thailand but not sure if I can digest so much information quickly in one month. Plus I would have to take one month off my corporate job.
I’ve been talking to the teachers at the studios I frequent and they said a perk of doing a part time course locally is that you get to slowly digest information and practice in between lessons. Also, it’s easier to network and find studios to teach afterwards.
I live in SE Asia anyways, so I thought maybe I could do my 200h in my country and then attend retreats/short trainings overseas?
Anyone had to decided between the two and care to share your experience?
