Where is all the leather coming from??

What the title says. Melissa gave Shauna a leather knife sheath and they show a lot of leather clothing. Tanning is very involved and even if they figured out how to do it there are no cows or anything, only goats and rabbits which don’t have much skin to give. The airplane seats aren’t brown and I doubt they would be using the suitcases for frivolous things idk!!
