Xdefiant's biggest problem

So to give some context:

I've played this game since release bought the gold founder's pack, both season 1 and 2 bundles and 3 battle passes, so I supported this game since the beginning.

Now, when bo6 released I bought it since I was juggling between warzone and xdefiant and said "why not?". I have not stopped playing ever since I bought it, "why" you may ask? The content. The content on bo6 is so enjoyable, every gamemode, weapon and interaction was fun for me (except like half of the maps) and there was always zombies to chill out to after a bad/good match.

Xdefiant lacks content and it had more than enough time to make up for it, yet we are getting scrapfed LTM's that aren't that fun nor creative.

I gave Xdefiant a go yesterday and it was so unbearably boring I switched back to cod after 3 matches. I played this game every chance I could yet now it was a chore to boot the game up.

So now the questions.

How did Xdefiant retain your attention for so long?

And what is your goal ingame?
