Driving theme of season 3

In the previous 2 seasons, the themes driving the season and the different plots seemed to be pretty obvious: Season 1 revolved around money. Season 2 revolved around sex.

However, after 6 episodes, I still feel that the main theme of this season is not clear, if it even exists at all. Some ideas I had but l'm not really convinced of: Secrets/Gossip-seems like almost all characters are hiding something from their companions. Spirituality - mostly due to the location and the Ratliff family arch.
