tell me anything about valorant cus im pretty new

i don't have a pc, but my boyfriend actively plays valorant. he streams his games to me on discord and sometimes watches some competitions online. i wanna learn more about the game: how all the agents work along with the different modes, playstyles, and the differences between all the firearms? also what are those online competitions he's always watching? where can i watch those too? are there any streamers you guys suggest i can watch (youtube or twitch pls)? i don't know how to get into the game without playing it or taking interest whole because i'm not fond of first person shooter, but i do like gun games and my boyfriend. if you have any info you'd like to share about the game, that would help me a lot!
