Hidden firmware updates

Why are firmware updates hidden? Why do you need to run the battery diagnostic or talk to support to get the latest firmware? It feels like I have to talk to support so frequently… starting to get tired of this… Anyone else has been experiencing random issues that are only resolved by support magically sending you the latest update while the app clearly says you’re in the latest firmware already?

I loved my ring, when it worked fine and wasn’t giving me any issues, but troubleshooting each week is starting to get tiring.
