UMR-Ultra as a travel router?

I’m fed up of my Glinet travel router, and just spotted the UMR-Ultra. Has anyone tried it out as a travel router?

Ideally, I want it to be able to jump onto hotel WiFi (or direct plug into an RJ45 if they have it) and have it VPN back to my home UDM network if I want. Would be nice if I can do this WITH Unifi gear.
