Do accounts know if you report them?

I came across a page on my fyp today that advertised cp if you dm them in their bio 🤢. I immediately reported them to tiktok. A few minutes later that account was following me which freaked me out. How could they have known? I didn’t like any of there videos, comment of follow I only reported. I didn’t have footsteps on. I now have them blocked.
