Help needed for ultimate weapon choice

So this isn't for me it's for my brother, I know smart misses are good but they are very late game, he is only teir 4 currently, he already has DW and GT, he also just got the featured module so i was wondering If it would be smart to get inner land mines or if he should just get chronological field? Please help, thanks.
