Why does this subreddit exaggerate how bad windows on a handheld is

I recently bought a ROG Ally Z1 Extreme since my Steam Deck screen broke, and so far, I've had a better experience. The games show a significant performance increase compared to the Steam Deck, although the battery life isn't as strong. However, I don't mind that, and I also don't miss the trackpads. It's much easier to run non-Steam games and use different launchers— it only requires basic tinkering to get a good experience.

I've seen many lists here where people say they bought a ROG Ally and returned it after a few hours because they didn't know how to adjust the settings correctly. It's a PC, so of course, you need to tinker a bit to make things run smoothly!
