So.. what’s exactly “wrong” with sonic origins?

I know a lot of people have been criticizing sonic origins and I want to know… why? I don’t own the game myself but just from an outside perspective it seems like a neat collection of the classic games with cool add ons. Is there something wrong with the controls? Music?
