Form & progress

I have two thoughts and no one to talk about them with, so here we go Reddit!

1) I went to a class today where the instructor didn’t come around to ask everyone’s names, and then when they asked if anyone had injuries 4 people’s hands shot up (mine included) and they only acknowledged/ spoke to 2 of them (me excluded) before starting class. Then throughout class, I know for a fact that my form was very off in a number of moves - a bit devilishly because I was curious if the coach would correct me. They couldn’t have cared less and didn’t pay a single sliver of attention to form. (I know, I did this to myself, but it was an experiment). I find this SO odd. I know no one forces me to go to SC - I go on my own free will - and I go in with eyes wide open, so it’s fully on me. However I do actual Pilates very regularly so I’m generally aware of when my body is aligned poorly or dangerously and I feel equipped to correct myself - but I’m no expert and I’m not perfect. I worry that people who don’t come in knowing things about form may hurt themselves

2) I’m a semi novice to SC (under 25 classes) but I have done north of 200 regular Pilates classes in the last 3 years. In regular Pilates I constantly take the advanced modification. In other lagree classes, I’m usually somewhere in the middle. In SC I feel I must be the weakest person in the room. I usually leave feeling pretty terrible about my performance. What am I missing and why am I struggling to translate performance from other studios into here?
