Amlactin & tattoos?

Does anyone have experience using Amlactin on HEALED tattoos? It's not something I'd want to be using during the healing process, but it's my go-to body lotion because of my KP and I'd like to return to using it after I'm healed up. Are the exfoliants strong enough to fade a tattoo over time? Or, if no one has longterm experience in such a specific scenario, does anyone know which skin layers the exfoliants, well, exfoliate?
