What free softwares does sp provide?

I'm trying to edit photos for a project and most of the good photo editing softwares need money. But from what i understandsp pays for some of these softwares. So is there any photo editing software paid for by SP? Also if you can just tell me a list of thing i could use for free while i'm in Sp
