Interfaith relationships in the UK

I don’t know if this is a purely a UK trend but lately there’s been a lot of relationships with Sikh girls and Muslim boys (I don’t have an knowledge of experience of there being Sikh boys and Muslim girls) but is there a reason for this? My guess is that it’s just because there’s no knowledge about Sikhism in this generation, just as a couple weeks ago my Sikh friends was shocked to learn that Sikhs believe in reincarnation instead of hell and heaven + almost every punjabi in our school speaks more about their punjabi and “Jatt” background rather than learning about their Sikh background. Idk why it’s purely girls.
